GET PICKY MAY INSPIRATION CHALLENGE

This is the first time I have played along at GET PICKY as I don't usually scrap more than one photo but I loved this challenge so much that I made an exception!

This challenge is an inspiration challenge to scrap about yourself using this quote.

The quote made me think about all the adventures and crazy random things that I have done in my life that really make up my life. For me thats what the quote is all about, so i choose this old polaroid of me taken from the passenger seat of my car by one of my best friends. We were on a very impromtu, random road trip from Melbourne to Canberra to get my working holiday maker visa to the UK. I had left it to the absolute LAST MINUTE and the British Consulate couldn't guarantee I would get it in time unless it was lodged in person in Canberra. So myself and two friends piled into my car and off we went. We had a great time, we went to the galleries, out dancing and even visited some special adult stores in Canberra. It was the start of many years of adventure for me!

And some close ups!

I had an awesome time making this very messy arty page. I took a book that I had just read that was terrible! and ripped it to shreds and glued it over a piece of cardstock, then added mist, paint, mesh, paper, ribbons and much more.

  5. Love that you made a "multi-photo" exception in this case! :) Love the page, the story behind it, as well as the hated-book paper background. :)
