So the challenge over at "123 challenge" is the word "really", the colour lime and Fabric!
Here is my take on that.
It was great to use some fabric on a layout. It's not something I usually do and I don't know why because I have so much scrap fabric (you know those scraps you cannot bear to part with but really have no use!) Well I think I've found a use for them now. Thanks 123!
I had these 'first day of school' pictures I wanted to scrap but seeing that my daughters uniform is PURPLE and GOLD ( i know but as i told her 'you all look ridiculous TOGETHER) they proved a bit of a challenge. This challenge was a god send because the green worked really well with the purple and gold!

SCRAP THE GIRLS - APRIL CHALLENGE
The challenge for SCRAP THE GIRLS in April is a picture inspiration.
At first I had NO IDEA what to do with this picture. I mean it's SCRAP THE GIRLS and there is NO PINK anywhere, I mean how do you SCRAP GIRLS with NO FLIPPIN PINK! Well I guess thats why they call it a challenge eh?
So with that in mind here is my layout.
I drew inspiration from the tree in the picture, but I couldn't resist adding some PINK in there.
This is a terrible photo - sorry.
SCRAP THE BOYS - APRIL CHALLENGE
Here is my take on SCRAP THE BOYS - APRIL CHALLENGE
http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com/
THE CHALLENGE IS TO GET INSPIRED BY AN OUTFIT THAT YOUR SON OR HUSBAND WEARS TO CREATE A LAYOUT...
I chose to scrap about the kinder T-Shirt my son is wearing. He loves being a kinder boy and I really wanted to scrap about how much he loves kinder and how proud he is to wear the T-Shirt.
I took handprints of all my kids recently and really wanted to put Ethan's on this layout but it just wasn't working so I decided to use the handprint as a mask instead and mist over it. I was pretty happy with the result. I ended up using the handprint on another layout about his handprint and how small he is now.
